Illustrator, Brand Identity & Graphic Designer
your all-in-one, start-to-finish senior-level graphic designer
Howdy friend–I'm Libbie Cramer. An Austin-based graphic designer with over eight years of experience and a BFA in Visual Communication and Design. I am deeply passionate about finding creative solutions that visually speak to your audiences. I am a flexible and quick learner with diverse backgrounds in freelance, in-house, and agency environments. I love all things design but tend to be most dedicated to illustration, infographic creation, brand identity, and layout design.
Born and raised in Nebraska, I received my BFA in Visual Communications and Design from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2020. I was fortunate to begin gaining professional experience while obtaining my education at UNK's Communications and Marketing Department as a graphic designer. Shortly after graduation, I made the bold leap to Austin to pursue my career in a bustling and creative market — gaining experience at three different Austin marketing/design agencies since.
In-House Experience
Freelance Experience
In 2018, I began offering my freelance capabilities to friends, family, and acquaintances. Beginning humbly with local, small businesses, I slowly began to grow. Later, in 2019 I began partnering with an independent marketing agency, KD Agency, and started seeing an influx in work. KD Agency and I regularly collaborated to establish client goals, deadlines, best practices, and vendors before handing me the design baton. I took over design projects, most often building brand-identity systems, style-guide books, print materials, web-design assets, and more. Client-facing work is a deep passion of mine. Working, communicating, and establishing client goals is one of my favorite parts of the process, and this position helped foster that realization.
Agency Experience
Starting in 2021-2022, I worked as a graphic designer at the Austin Design Agency, Envision Creative. Working at Envision was a great experience as our clients were not niche, and instead a more general mix of work. Here is where I learned my love for hospitality & service industry design.
From 2021-2022 I was the Social Media and Marketing Coordinator at HMG Creative, an Austin-based web design, and marketing agency. However, my role broadened during my time at HMG, expanding into freehand/digital illustrations, web design assets, infographics, and more for HMG and clients.
